RFLD maintains a strategic presence across the Sahel, West Africa, Central Africa, and Southern Africa. We collaborate with over sixty four hundred (400) organizations, focusing on programmatic priorities that include SRHR, economic justice, climate justice, peace and security, and participatory governance. At the regional level, RFLD holds a significant position within the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) of the African Union. We are part of the Working Group of the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders and hold Observer Status with the ACHPR. Réseau des Femmes Leaders pour le Développement (RFLD) / The Women Leaders Network for Development is a Pan-African organization based in West Africa, dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of women, youth, and vulnerable groups, and ensuring their meaningful participation in decision-making spheres.
