Grounded in primary sources and period documents, my academy bridges historical scholarship and practical culinary arts. What we will do : Explore gastronomy history: trace how taste, ingredients, and techniques evolved. Hands on period cooking: cook authentic dishes from prehistory to the early 20th century Recreate documented recipes: decipher manuscripts, early cookbooks, and archives. Discover what they ate: analyze the diets of historical figures like marie antoinette. Master traditional techniques: learn ancient bread making, almond milk, and old preservation methods.
